DATES TO REMEMBER

Family Barbecue
Don’t forget the family/staff barbecue at Highlands Park tonight, Sept. 4. You should have received an email from Anne Schoepp with all the details. If not, contact her at schoepp6@cruzio.com.

Tuition Due Now
Tuition and registration fees will be overdue after Friday, Sept. 5. A late fee will be added to payments not received by that date.

Please Be Punctual
Please get your students to school on time. It is disruptive for the teachers when students come late. Also, math is the first subject of the day, so the students miss out on vital math time when they are late.

Here We Go!
School is underway again! We are looking forward to some very exciting things this year. Don’t forget our BBQ on September 4 at 5:30 pm. APPLE, our parent group, will be sending more information on this. We will talk more about APPLE at Back-to-School Night on September 11.
Remember that we, the faculty, are here to serve you. Please do not hesitate to email your teacher if you have questions or concerns. Each teacher should have emailed you already so you have his or her email. You may also call the school office at 335-0328 and leave a message.

Registration Forms
Some registration forms are still outstanding. Please get them in ASAP.

Pick-up and Drop-off
When dropping off or picking up your children, please do not park next to the building. Follow this procedure:

• Cars should form a line, with the first car pulling up next to the platform. (Please pull up close to the platform so another car can pass beside you easily.)
• Please stay in line until you have all your students in the car.
• When you’re ready to leave, pass on the left of the line and go by slowly. Drive around the building and exit through the Abbot’s parking lot.
• If you need to talk to someone or leave your car for any reason, please park along the fence. All children must remain in your car or stay with you—please do not allow them to run around.

Preparing the Classrooms
The teachers worked hard over the summer to rearrange and prepare the classrooms for the coming year.
